Hey guys!
I'm going to be performing in a production of "The Mystery of Edwin Drood" from February 25 - March 18. It's a really fun show with LOTS of audience participation...think a Choose Your Own Adventure Musical. Anyhow, come if you can...it should be a great time!
If I haven't seen you or talked to you in forever, hope all is well :-)

The movie critics are saying will be iconic for gay men in cinema opens in one week. Brokeback Mountain.
This song was written for the film. Sung by Emmylou Harris.... Just fantastic!
Go to sleep, may your sweet dreams come true Just lay back in my arms for one more night I've this crazy old notion that calls me sometimes Saying this one's the love of our lives.
Cause I know a love that will never grow old And I know a love that will never grow old.
When you wake up the world may have changed But trust in me, I'll never falter or fail Just the smile in your eyes, it can light up the night, And your laughter's like wind in my sails.
Cause I know a love that will never grow old And I know a love that will never grow old.
Lean on me, let our hearts beat in time, Feel strength from the hands that have held you so long. Who cares where we go on this rutted old road In a world that may say that we're wrong.
Cause I know a love that will never grow old And I know a love that will never grow old.
A Love That Will Never Grow Old - Emmylou Harris

Not a day goes by Not a single day But you're somewhere apart of my life And it looks like you'll stay
As the days go by I keep thinking, when does it end? Where's the day I'll have started forgetting? But I just go on thinking and sweating and cursing and crying and turning and reaching and waking and dying
And oh, not a day goes by Not a blessed day But you're still somewhere part of my life And you won't go away
And I have to say If you do, I'll die Dying day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day Till the days go by... Till the days go by... Till the days go by...

It's been forever...so here's a brief update :
1. I'm training for the National AIDS Marathon which will take place in Miami at the end of Jan. Yay running :-)
2. I am in KAT's production of Sondheim's COMPANY...end of Oct and beginning/middle of Nov. Come see me and Mal.
3. I am an offical resident of Old Town Alexandria...my place is hot, I'm having a party soon!
That's all for now. Hope all is well with you guys.
PS. I talked to Lacey and she informed me that my fish is still alive despite all scientific laws that say it should be dead. I say it lives forever.
PPS. Yay for talking to Lacey! It had been too long.

It's funny how the summer is ending and beginning for me all at the same time.
The season closed on Sunday and it has been such a rewarding experience. The next two weeks will be alot of cleaning up and tying up loose ends. So for awhile my work life will be put on hold. Its a great feeling.
August 1st marks vacation...I couldn't be more excited. I'll be in Boston from the 5th-13th, and then back in Beltsville for my last week before moving to Alexandria.
I was cleaning out my room today and for the first time it really hit me that my life is about to drastically change. I was looking at pictures from college, old thank you cards from shows, reviews. While I'm not moving across the country and I'll still be at my same job...this is a brand new beginning for me...and I am really looking forward to it.
I hope Lacey and Malinda know how much I'll miss them, this year has been so special.
Another early day tomorrow. Goodnight :-)

It's been awhile...
I cannot believe its almost April, which really means its practically May, which will then mean I've been out of school for a year. Crazy. Its so weird to hear about people making plans for the summer, I feel like last summer just ended. Didn't we just finish Sweeney Todd? Didn't I just start my new job?
Speaking of...my job is still fantastic. Its has gotten incredibly busy do to the fact that Gala is April 9. I was at work today until 6, and when I came home I had no energy to do anything. I finally got around to doing some table work for Fantasticks and also looking at my music. It's alot more dialogue and music than I imagined...its really just a great part. I think its going to be a good show...however, its still pretty early to tell. I'll let you know in a couple weeks.
I am looking forward to the season starting up in May. All of the artists, technicians, staff will start to arrive, the students will all leave, and Summer Opera will consume the Music School. I am so excited Maribeth and Lacey are the stage management team...I think they'll be just fantastic. I saw the renderings for Cendrillon...its going to be gorgeous, and our lead is SO good.
That's all for now...kind of a boring entry. I guess my life is a little dull right now...but that's okay with me :-)

Don't touch that. And stop your whining too. Stop it. I mean it. You know I do. If you don't stop, I'll give you fucking something to cry about right here, and don't you think I won't either.
So she did. She slapped him across the face. And you could hear the snap of flesh against the flesh halfway across the store. Then he wasn't whining anymore. Instead, he wept. His little body heaved and shivered and wept. He was seven or eight. She was maybe thirty. Above her left breast, the pin said: Nurse's Aid.
Now they walk hand in hand down the aisle between the tables piled with tennis shoes and underpants and plastic bags of socks.
I told you I would. You knew I would. You can't get away with shit like that with me, you know you can't. You're not in school anymore. You can get away with fucking murder there, but you can't get away with shit like that with me. Stop that crying now I say or I'll give you another little something like I did before.
Stop that now. You'd better stop.
That's better. That's a whole lot better. You know you can't do that with me. You're with your mother now.

No matter how strong I'm gonna take you down With one little stone I'm gonna break you down And see what you're worth What you're really worth to me
Dinner at eight was okay Before the toast full of gleams It was great until those old magazines Got us started up again Actually it was probably me again
Why is it so That I've always been the one who must go That I've always been the one told to flee When it fact you were the one long ago Actually in the drifting white snow You left me
So put up your fists and I'll put up mine No running away from the scene of the crime God's chosen a place Somewhere near the end of the world Somewhere near the end of our lives
No matter how strong I'm gonna take you down With one little stone I'm gonna break you down And see what you're worth What you're really worth to me

YAY FOR SNOW!
My bosses mom who works as a professor at CUA told me to go home because she was worried about me driving, however since she's not really offically my boss, I'm pretty sure I should wait for Deanne to get back from her meeting...although the whole situation was very tempting. Keep in mind, I've also already had one day off this week, and I have another one tomorrow, so I really should just stay here for the afternoon...even though pretty much everyone in the building is leaving.
I'll probably write a real update tomorrow on yet another one of my days off this week.
Laters taters.
PS. I just heard people cheering in the hallways...maybe classes got cancelled for them in the afternoon...in which case, I can definetly go home...
